Brass Eagle Tattoo

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I schedule an appointment?

Appointments can be made by calling the shop, stopping by in person, or requesting appointment here. Walk-ins are always welcome, but availability is not guaranteed. If you have a preferred time or artist, or a multi-session tattoo, we recommend booking in advance.

Please do not ask to schedule appointments directly through your artist, as we cannot guarantee a timely response. It’s always best to contact Brass Eagle directly.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your appointment time. This deposit goes toward the final cost of your tattoo.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We require at least one week’s notice for cancellations or reschedules. With proper notice, your deposit can be applied toward a future appointment. Deposits are forfeited if:

  • You cancel with less than one week’s notice.
  • You do not show up to your appointment.
  • You repeatedly reschedule without notice.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes, walk-ins are always welcome! Stop by anytime or give us a call to check availability. However, spots are first-come, first-served and cannot be guaranteed. Booking ahead is the best way to secure time with your preferred artist.

How much do tattoos cost?

Pricing depends on the size, placement, and detail of the design, as well as the artist’s rate. Small tattoos typically start at our shop minimum of $100, while larger or custom work is quoted individually.

What styles do you offer?

Our artists specialize in a variety of styles including bold traditional, fine-line, neo-traditional, tribal, and fully custom work. We take pride in being well-rounded artists, allowing us to bring just about any idea to life.

How do I take care of my new tattoo?

Find our aftercare instructions here.

What is the age requirement?

Illinois state law requires you to be 18 years or older to get tattooed. Parental consent does not make exceptions—no one under 18 may be tattooed at Brass Eagle Tattoo. A valid, government-issued photo ID is required at the time of your appointment.

Is your shop licensed and safe?

Absolutely. Brass Eagle Tattoo is fully licensed, and we follow strict health and safety protocols. All equipment is single-use and sterile, and our studio is kept clean and professional at all times. We comply with all county and state regulations.
